PURPOSES AND GOALS: To promote the Orff Schulwerk philosophy and approach in the United States ; to have a positive impact on music education at all levels: early childhood through adult; to work for better teacher training programs at all levels; to support research in music education. MEMBERSHIP: Individuals: 5,000 Chapters: 92 Description of Membership: Music teachers, classroom teachers, music therapists, church musicians, preschool, and physical education teachers. Also institutions, colleges, and universities, libraries and music industry organizations. PUBLICATION(S): Journal: The Orff Echo Newsletter: Reverberations 368 S.
