PURPOSES AND GOALS:

To offer gifted and talented young people the opportunity to develop their creative abilities in a wholesome community under the guidance of an exemplary faculty of artists and educators. Excellence in: teaching and fostering creative expression; leadership and character development; in curriculum and teaching methods; in presenting the arts in performance and exhibition; in service to communities; excellence in opportunities for professional growth and renewal; arts advocacy.

Individuals: 85,000 alumni

Description of Membership:

Alumni of the Interlochen Arts Camp (formerly National Music Camp) and the Interlochen Arts Academy . We consider any former students, staff or faculty to be alumni.

Description of Publication(s):

Crescendo is a published two to three times annually by the Interlochen Center for the Arts. The four color magazine includes news, features, interviews and photos and is distributed to more than 45,000 alumni, students, employees and friends nationally.
