PURPOSES AND GOALS: The IAWM builds awareness of women's contributions to musical life through its publications, website, international competitions, conferences and congresses, concert promotion, presentation, and through its support of entrepreneurial and publishing activities, scholarly research and publications, broadcasts, education initiatives, and advocacy work. MEMBERSHIPS: Individuals: 500 Description of Membership: Members are composers, musicologists, performers, educators, librarians and concerned laypersons interested in music composed by women; libraries and organizations receive the journal. PUBLICATION(S): Journals: IAWM Journal Description of Publication(s): The IAWM Journal is published in the spring and fall. Women and Music is published in the last quarter by the University of Nebraska Press . DESCRIPTION OF MAILING LIST: Mailing list is rentable. List count is 500, subdivided by membership type.
