PURPOSES AND GOALS: With nearly 80,000 members, Music Educators National Conference (MENC) is the largest association dedicated exclusively to the advancement of music education. From elementary general music to music teacher education, at all levels of teaching from pre-school to college, MENC works to ensure that every student has access to a well-balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality program of music instruction.
