PURPOSES AND GOALS:

The Music Performance Fund is the world's largest sponsor of live, admission free instrumental performances. This tax-exempt public service organization was created more than 50 years ago as part of the collective bargaining agreement between the recording industry and the American Federation of Musicians. The sole purpose of the MPF is to render a public service by providing live instrumental programs of high quality. MPF presentations are always admission free and open to the public. The Fund also solicits participation of co-sponsors. Co-sponsor contributions are tax deductible and MPF will assist co-sponsoring organizations in publicizing their commitment to these public service activities.

Concerts range from Bach to Broadway, Sousa to Jazz. Working closely with Locals of the American Federation of Musicians, The Fund has presented more than 800,000 free instrumental performances throughout the U.S. and Canada , to audiences numbering in the millions.

Music Performance Trust Funds does not sponsor a national conference.
