PURPOSES AND GOALS: MTNA is committed to furthering the art of music through programs that encourage and support music teaching, performance, composition and research. A Brief Legal Guide for the Independent Music Teacher: Compiled by attorneys, covers zoning, copyright, insurance, and other aspects of owning and operating a business. Choosing a Music Teacher Brochure Pack: Small brochure packed with information about choosing an appropriate, qualified music teacher. MTNA Note Cards: Set of twenty cards featuring the original full-color designs of past AMT covers. Proceedings from Pedagogy Saturday II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII : The complete proceedings from the pedagogy sessions that took place at the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 MTNA National Conferences.
