PURPOSES AND GOALS:

To develop world-wide love and appreciation of traditional and contemporary music of African-Americans; to discover and assist the musical gifts of African-American youths by maintaining scholarship assistance funds; to maintain high professional standards through lectures and conventions; to create wider opportunities for African-American musicians of all types.

Description of Membership:

Membership includes adults, youths (15-21), junior-aged (6-14) musicians, and patrons of the arts who are church musicians, studio teachers, active performers and K-12, college, and University level educators, entrepreneurs and supporters from across the country.
